What medium was your favorite to work with? Explain why and how you were able to master the techniques associated with this medium.
My favorite medium was pen and ink because it was the most like pencil which is what I normally work in. I saw myself improve drastically in pen and ink. Pen and ink was similar in the sense of the strokes you make have different shades due to pressure how much ink is in that area. So it was similar in that regard, but handled differently because you can't erase and it was just new to me. Practice did make perfect because I started off struggling with an avocado to successfully drawing a group of spheres in different textures. It was a challenge to start with but I did see myself get better through the course of the unit and for that I am proud of my self and now it is my favorite medium.
